Opening of the Russian Export Center in Azerbaijan

On December 25, 2017 the opening of representative office of the Russian Export Center in Azerbaijan was held in Baku. The Russian delegation headed by the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maksim Oreshkin was present at the opening.

Tasks of the Center are the help to the Russian manufacturers on the issues of specifics of operation in the region, the rendering of financial and non- financial services in projects, as well as search of partners in the country and the region. Opening of already the seventh center (there are already offices in Belarus, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Iran, Vietnam and Argentina) is one more step on the way of support of the Russian exporters.

The Russian delegation has also participated in the enlarged meeting of the Azerbaijanian-Russian and Russian-Azerbaijanian business councils during which several agreements aimed at further development of economic cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan have been signed.
